The Steelers finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a F.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Steelers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

They have staked the next five years on Cam Ward, which is the only story that really matters here. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Winston Jr.. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.
