Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Harold Perkins Jr., the No. 129 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Reaching for Truss left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Trey Smith deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.
