Boards are made to be trusted, and the Broncos shredded theirs for Eric Gentry. He came off 38 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Broncos indulged a want in Pritchett while a need in tight end stayed open.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting Brooks where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
