Nix is the Bears' new face under center. Grade: B+. The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Bo Nix, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
The Rouse pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Landing Bertrand that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
