The Texans won the night they stopped Hairston from sliding. Grade: B. Somebody in pick No. 167 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Maxwell Hairston, the No. 76 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
They are betting Robinson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
