There is conviction, and then there is this. The Commanders took Tommy Eichenberg a full 68 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The whole projection now runs through Drake Maye; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
