Draft Grade — Packers
Overall D
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesF FutureB+
The phones sank the Packers this weekend: D.

The Packers torched the value chart for Shilo Sanders, taking him 50 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Shavon Revel Jr.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Shavon Revel Jr.. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick54 Rnd2 Cameron Williams
They paid a round early for Cameron Williams in the 54th pick, more than the board wanted. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick87 Rnd3 Ashton Gillotte
A reach for Ashton Gillotte in Round 3, Pick 23; a little patience would have been rewarded. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick102 Rnd3 Tai Felton
A tidy little value on Tai Felton in the Round 3 slot, a step better than break-even. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick106 Rnd4 Dorian Strong
Dorian Strong in No. 106 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick127 Rnd4 Logan Brown
Logan Brown in pick 127 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick130 Rnd4 Barryn Sorrell
Barryn Sorrell at pick No. 130 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick144 Rnd5 Connor Colby
This one needs a full-page explanation: Connor Colby in the 144th overall pick, miles early. It fills a real need, too.
Pick159 Rnd5 Kurtis Rourke
A top-tier quarterback at a bargain, Kurtis Rourke in No. 159, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick198 Rnd6 Raheim Sanders
They will replay Raheim Sanders at the 198th pick for years; that is how good the value is. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick228 Rnd7 Jabbar Muhammad
They went early on Jabbar Muhammad in pick 228, and the value did not follow. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick237 Rnd7 Shilo Sanders
They talked themselves into Shilo Sanders at the Round 7 slot, and the board did not agree. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
