The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Burton: B+. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Jermaine Burton slide 63 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.
They are betting Slovis proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The Michael Gallup pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
