FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Selections

Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Simmons: B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Josh Simmons got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 115. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Fairchild left real value on the table behind him.
They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick19
Rnd1
Tre Harris
In slot 19 they get a true top target at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick48
Rnd2
Jordan Burch
Jordan Burch in pick 48 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick59
Rnd2
Dylan Fairchild
Dylan Fairchild in No. 59 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick79
Rnd3
Colston Loveland
Colston Loveland at the 79th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It fills a real need, too.
Pick90
Rnd3
Jaxson Dart
Circle this one: Jaxson Dart at pick No. 90 is a fall that decides a draft. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick115
Rnd4
Josh Simmons
Steal is underselling it; Josh Simmons at the Round 4 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick121
Rnd4
Jihaad Campbell
No drama and no debate, Jihaad Campbell went about where he belonged in the 121st overall pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick136
Rnd4
Derrick Harmon
A tidy bit of business in Round 4, Pick 35, where Derrick Harmon graded well above the range. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick172
Rnd5
Jermari Harris
They took Jermari Harris at par in the Round 5 slot, which is nothing to complain about. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick193
Rnd6
Luke Lachey
Luke Lachey at No. 193 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick210
Rnd6
Xzavier Henderson
The board fumbled Xzavier Henderson all the way to Round 6, Pick 35, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick228
Rnd7
Makari Paige
Makari Paige at slot 228 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
