A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a A- weekend for the Giants.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Giants committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Tampa pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots still on the board.

They will need Proctor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Linton.

In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
