The tape said wait; the Chiefs did not. Jordan Jefferson went at pick 203, a good 39 picks before the board was ready. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
