The rest of the league had time to spare on David Walker; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 148 spots ahead at the 43rd overall pick.

However the rest shakes out, Paul Jr. at that price is a win they earned. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
