The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

However the rest shakes out, Still at that price is a win they earned. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
