The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Johnson: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Tez Johnson, the No. 100 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 149th overall pick.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Chris Lindstrom pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
