Larceny in pick No. 149 lands the Bears a B+, Ransom and all. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Lathan Ransom, the No. 106 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 149. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Skattebo pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
