The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Bryant: A-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Pat Bryant, the No. 143 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 199th overall pick.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The veteran additions, Micah Parsons chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In the end it comes back to Walter Nolen, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
