The Chiefs clearly saw something nobody else did in Lideatrick Griffin, taking him 37 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
