The Browns let Sawyer fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Browns did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, Sawyer at that price is a win they earned. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

In the end it comes back to Jack Sawyer, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
