Larceny in slot 240 lands the Bears a B+, Knight Jr. and all.

Somebody in the 240th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Demetrius Knight Jr., the No. 61 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The cost of the Sawyer reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
