The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Johnny Dixon fell into pick No. 218. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Hanson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
