The Chiefs bled value on every deal, hence the C-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Chiefs did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A mixed bag that lands at C-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The Leveston pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

They will need Eichenberg to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
