Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Kalel Mullings, the No. 105 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 193. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Reaching for Dellinger left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
