If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bears would have aced it. Zakhari Franklin at the 240th overall pick is 97 spots clear of where he belonged. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Getting Moore where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
