A passer of the future in McCarthy, and a D-, for the Giants. The Giants put a flag in the ground for Kitan Oladapo, 34 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
J.J. McCarthy gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.
The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, David Long Jr. leading the way.
