The Giants left with their quarterback, and a D to match. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Olumuyiwa Fashanu, the No. 8 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 3 slot.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.
The Green reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
