The Giants found their guy under center in Maye: D-. Somebody in Round 6, Pick 11 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Cole Bishop, the No. 108 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
Drake Maye is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If Dankwah pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
