The Titans lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Titans reached some 40 spots for Theo Johnson, and value like that does not grow back. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The James pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and quarterback. James falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
