The steal of the weekend belongs to the Cowboys and Knight Jr.: B+.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Demetrius Knight Jr. got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 190. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Every board in the league had Jefferson lower, and that gap is the story. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
