Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Chris Paul Jr. got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at pick 227.

They are betting Jefferson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
