They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jackson Hawes, 75 picks early at No. 175.

The Gadsden II pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
