Draft Grade — Giants
Overall

The Giants did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jason Henderson at the 251st overall pick is 104 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick9
Rnd1
Jordyn Tyson
In Round 1, Pick 9 they get a go-to option on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick40
Rnd2
Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad in slot 40 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick106
Rnd4
Logan Jones
Logan Jones at the 106th pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick144
Rnd5
CJ Daniels
A reach on CJ Daniels in the Round 5 slot; the board had better options right there. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick151
Rnd5
Roderick Kearney
A wild overpay on Roderick Kearney in pick 151, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick163
Rnd5
Diego Pavia
They talked themselves into Diego Pavia at pick No. 163, and the board did not agree. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick187
Rnd6
DeAndre Moore Jr.
DeAndre Moore Jr. at pick No. 187 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick235
Rnd7
Dominic Zvada
Dominic Zvada at Round 7, Pick 17 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick251
Rnd7
Jason Henderson
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jason Henderson in pick 251, miles early. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
