The Fred Davis pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 118 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. On value alone, Grant makes the weekend a net positive.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
