Call it larceny. Kyle McCord sat on the board until Round 7, Pick 37, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
