Grand theft in No. 194: the Browns steal McCord and grade out a D+. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Browns watched Kyle McCord slide 74 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
