The Chiefs turned the phones into found money: B+. The Chiefs spent real capital to be 42 picks early on Jordan Jefferson, and the board is going to hold them to it. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
The Jones steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Chiefs clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
