Larceny in slot 235 lands the Bears a B, Lambert-Smith and all.

You could see the war room lean forward. KeAndre Lambert-Smith at Round 7, Pick 17 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. The Mazi Smith pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Zabel has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
