You build a draft on nights like this. Isaiah Williams had no business being available in the 255th overall pick, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They are betting Barner proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
