Draft Grade — Dolphins
Overall
B
ValueA-
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Dolphins robbed the room for Judkins. Final grade: B. The Dolphins did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Quinshon Judkins fell into the Round 7 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Every board in the league had Greene III lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick13
Rnd1
Will Campbell
In the 13th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback. A real need, handled.
Pick48
Rnd2
Kenneth Grant
They robbed the room for Kenneth Grant here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick98
Rnd3
Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore in pick No. 98 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick114
Rnd4
Earnest Greene III
Earnest Greene III at slot 114 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick133
Rnd4
Jake Majors
Jake Majors at Round 4, Pick 32 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick149
Rnd5
Sebastian Castro
Sebastian Castro at the 149th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick154
Rnd5
Gunnar Helm
The board fumbled Gunnar Helm all the way to the Round 5 slot, and they scooped it up. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick224
Rnd7
Dorian Strong
Circle this one: Dorian Strong at pick 224 is a fall that decides a draft. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick231
Rnd7
Chris Paul Jr.
Steal is underselling it; Chris Paul Jr. at Round 7, Pick 15 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick252
Rnd7
Quinshon Judkins
You do not let a running back like Quinshon Judkins reach the Round 7 slot and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
