This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Deontae Lawson, the No. 88 name on the board, stolen at slot 203. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The cost of the Toia reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The veteran additions, Ted Karras chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
