A solid, sensible weekend for the Cowboys: B.

The Cowboys torched the value chart for Ethan Downs, taking him 75 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Higgins steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
