Somebody in slot 51 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Quinyon Mitchell, the No. 16 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cost of the Gore Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.
