The Packers let Harris fall and pounced. Final grade: A. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Tre Harris got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at the 180th overall pick. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The veteran additions, Logan Hall chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
In the end it comes back to Travis Hunter, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
