They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Bo Nix is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Reaching for McCormick left real value on the table behind him. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Irving.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
