You build a draft on nights like this. Ja'Quinden Jackson had no business being available in the 247th pick, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
