Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Jonah Monheim, the No. 148 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
