You build a draft on nights like this. Devin Neal had no business being available in slot 147, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

They will need Gillotte to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
