Brooks should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a D.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Tahj Brooks, the No. 112 name on the board, stolen at Round 7, Pick 29.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Reaching for Grant left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
