The Steelers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Steelers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

The cost of the Jefferson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Fisher pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, safety and other spots still on the board. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Hit on Nate Wiggins and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
