The rest of the league had time to spare on Cam Jackson; the 49ers did not wait, grabbing him 65 spots ahead at slot 166. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Wilson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
