The Steelers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Traeshon Holden in Round 7, Pick 29. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Landing Higgins that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
